Homediq Europe B.V. owns and operates an online platform that connects customers with certified medical laboratories. Homed-IQ allows customers to order, manage, and track laboratory tests. The company’s online portal is used to receive laboratory test results for men and women.

Account on the website
To use our Services, you need to create a user account on the website. To do so, you must provide the following information:

After payment is received, we will send the test(s) to you by post. For this we need:

– Billing address.
If you purchased the test in a shop, the above details are not known to us and no test will be sent to you.
Surveys / questionnaires
We may ask you to complete surveys and/or questionnaires for the purpose of ensuring we are correctly performing our services or for research purposes. We will only process data collected through such surveys anonymously and with your explicit consent.

Presenting results on our website
To best deliver our laboratory testing services, we need to disclose certain data to a few people within our company, including the doctor, the accredited laboratory, and our IT service providers. Once you purchase a product from us, your order details need to be processed so that the test can be sent to you.
The accredited laboratory only has access to your date of birth, your test sample, and the test results published in a pseudonymised manner. The accredited laboratory does not have access to your other personal information and the data to which it has access cannot be attributed to you without the use of additional information held separately in our database.
After Homed-IQ receives the results, Homed-IQ may present the results to you by email, or they will be accessible in the secure portal through the Homed-IQ website. Homed-IQ will seek your express consent for this during the ordering process.

We will not knowingly collect personal data from website users under the age of 18. We rely on your promise in the terms and conditions that you are over 18. You may not use the Homed-IQ website or associated services, including purchasing products, if you are not 18 years of age or older.

Individuals working for Homed-IQ may have access to your personal data on a need-to-know basis. However, these individuals will never have access to genetic data, health data, or your test results. This data will only be processed under the responsibility of a medical professional under a duty of confidentiality.
Customers may contact Homed-IQ customer service with specific questions about their test results or to get a replacement test. In these situations and only at the specific request of the customer, customer service staff may access test result data in order to resolve the request or to verify any issues a customer may be experiencing with their test result. All customer service requests are processed in a secure platform and test data is only accessed by trained customer service staff.
In addition to these individuals, Homed-IQ may engage external service providers who will act as data processors on our behalf. These include cloud service providers and suppliers of certain software solutions. In these situations, Homed-IQ will enter into a processor agreement, which includes data security agreements to protect your personal data against data breaches.
We may disclose your personal data to competent authorities at their request to the extent required by law or to the extent necessary to defend our rights in legal proceedings or investigations.
Our third-party service providers may be located in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which may not provide an adequate level of personal data protection. To protect your personal data and to comply with our legal obligations, we will enter into a data transfer agreement based on standard contractual clauses as approved by the European Commission before engaging service providers outside the EEA.
We process your personal data with the utmost care and control.
